This is one of those shows I'm so thankful to have been at. Wolverhampton is a pretty out-of-the-way place and a lot of people were confused why the band chose to play here, and I recall it being the only show on the UK leg not sold out on the day. In the fan meetup beforehand there was definitely a metal/mosh-heavy crowd, so it was a big surprise when we got in and had one of the more psychedelic jammy sets of this particular era of touring. Prior to the show the band had put a post on Twitter asking for medication for food poisoning, so everyone was a bit nervous if the show was going to go ahead or not (and you can hear them joke about it like with Amby's dedication on The Dripping Tap).



Still, genuinely just such a great chill gig with an hour and a half of good vibes, of which I want to shoutout a suuuuper groovy Dripping Tap jam and The Wheel making it just shy of the 50 show-gap needed to be considered a bustout. I was disappointed that Witchcraft was cut on the setlist though, as I'd had Gila Monster a few days before at Liverpool. Still, if there's any show I need to see get a retroactive Bootlegger release, it's this one.
