Both K.G. and L.W. were made during the COVID-19 pandemic, and “See Me” comments on those times by touching on how one may feel insignificant in the face of global lockdowns and climate change — while also feeling disillusioned by the actions and indifference of others. While the song may seem simple with only two chords, it also has a distinct lead part played on celeste, a piano-like instrument that uses its hammers to strike metal plates rather than strings. The studio version was played by Ambrose (vocals/percussion), Cavs (drums) and Stu (guitar/vocals/keyboard/celeste/bass/clarinet) only, and was solely recorded and mixed by Stu. It was released on February 26th, 2021. Following L.W.’s release, “See Me” appeared in a quick ad for the band’s microtonal shows, as seen at the beginning of Live in Melbourne ‘21.

“See Me” saw a live debut on 2021-03-31 at the Thebarton Theatre in Adelaide. It would see three other performances during microtonal shows that year with a final appearance on 2021-12-21. Since then “See Me” has not been played. Live versions of the song feature an unusual line up with Ambrose and Joey switching spots so that Joey can play the lead part.
