The second Joey-penned song on Paper Mâché Dream Balloon is “Most Of What I Like,” a reflective look at a fraught relationship. Its narrator recognizes that the things they like in life exist because of their lover but, despite knowing that their inability to confront their partner’s interests and desires is causing the rift in the relationship, they refuse to change to make it better. The relationship is compared to a corpse that “should never be displayed.” “Most Of What I Like” is a mid-tempo song with simple instrumentation and layered background vocals. While the track is mostly calm, the outro injects life into the track with the introduction of clarinet and the piano taking a prominent role. It was released on November 13th, 2015. An instrumental version was released as part of the deluxe edition of Paper Mâché Dream Balloon on October 29th, 2021.

A demo for “Most Of What I Like” appeared on Demos Vol. 2: Music To Eat Bananas To. This version is a slow, psychedelic pop track with drum machine, brittle synthesizer parts and wobbly guitars. The lyrics are the same as they appear on the final version.

“Most Of What I Like” made its live debut on 2021-12-13 at the Brunswick Ballroom in Naarm (Melbourne) and reappeared on 2021-12-19. These performances were for the band’s acoustic shows and featured an extended outro teasing Fatboy Slim’s “Praise You” with lots of harmonica from Ambrose. The performance from 2021-12-19 was released as part of Live In Brisbane ‘21 and was featured in a promotional video for the release. The song would be played twice in 2022: at an acoustic show in Santa Barbara on 2022-04-13 and on 2022-06-01 for a unique electric version without Cavs in Athens. It was then played twice in 2023 with a similar split. The band performed another acoustic version at The Caverns in Pelham on 2023-06-04, but did a fully electric performance during their early show on 2023-06-08 at Red Rocks Ampitheathre.
