“Master of the Universe” is a heavy space rock song that originally appeared on Hawkwind’s 1971 album In Search of Space. The lyrics describe a god at the center of the universe, and are otherwise existential in nature. Hawkwind plays a chugging, sludgy rhythm with psychedelic instrumentation.

The song has only been partially played: as a tease throughout 2017, and frequently jammed in 2018 in the Nonagon Infinity track “Robot Stop”, appearing briefly during Cavs’ hi-hat intro or towards the end of the break. This rendition didn’t last into 2019, as the jam was cut from the song entirely.
