I haven't posted a review here before, but suddenly I feel compelled to do so as, I don’t have a political axe to grind and, I was actually in attendance for the fucking show. This was my 5th show and easily ranks near the top for me. The metal set to kick it off set the tone beautifully. I feel fortunate to have caught superbug live. There seemed to be a conveyor belt of people crowd surfing the whole evening. The energy as really on point. The techno set slapped with a full-on nu metal rendition of the grim reaper. Hypertension has always been on my wishlist and my face was properly melted. After seeing an orchestral show and a rock show on this tour, I certainly see the merits of both. Like many arguments, the debate over orchestral shows vs rock shows is nuanced and both sides should be heard. Just because someone yells out "rock shows kick ass!", doesn't mean they are an extremist. It doesn't mean they don’t see the debate for the complex, age old issue it is. It just means they think rock shows kick ass. Anyhoo, I actually went to the fucking show and it kicked ass.
