“Boy On The Run” is a country rock song by The Dingoes which was released on the band’s 1974 self-titled debut. It was inspired by Broderick Smith’s childhood in St Aubins and was one of the band’s most successful tracks. It was later re-recorded by The Dingoes on their album Five Times The Sun.

The song was performed by Shannon Bourne and Richard Tankardon for Broderick Smith’s public memorial at the Theatre Royal in Castlemaine on 2023-05-16. Ambrose joined them on harmonica and vocals.
