“Anamnesis” is a tranquil instrumental made of synthesizers and xylophones that plays on top of a collage of various footage from King Gizzard’s 2019 European tour. The word anamnesis describes the process of remembering events from a previous life. In a 2020 Reddit AMA Ambrose wrote that “Anamnesis” was his favorite part of the movie. The title would be referenced on “Blue Morpho” and “Magenta Mountain” in the years after Chunky Shrapnel’s release.
