A fun set from their early days, as well as an important part in the band's history. They have been quoted saying that Meredith Music Festival was "a dream" for the band to play as well as mentioning this in several interviews as one of their most important/memorable shows. Sadly the recording we have is incomplete, cutting in at the end of Talk Talk Talk but what we do have captures some great performances from this period. The recorded set is identical to the 12/31/2011 set which we have a full, better quality recording of so check out that review if you want more in depth discussion on every song. The main difference, as well as the highlight of the set for me is the closer of Crookedile, which includes a section of I Wanna Be Your Dog by The Stooges. Overall a good performance, though is definitely beaten out by the almost identical NYE show a few weeks later.
