Custom Painted Fender(?) Stratocaster (2010-2011)
Fender Telecaster (2011-2013)
Originally used by Stu for some Revolver & Sun performances in 2008-2009, this was used for a good amount of the band’s early shows. It first appeared at a King Gizzard show at The World Bar on July 8th, 2011, but wouldn’t be used again until a year later on September 1st, 2012 at the Godzilla Bar (although it did appear at the Esplanade Hotel on August 19th, 2011). After this it was the main guitar he was seen using until he purchased his Rickenbacker 620 in early 2013. Sometime in early December 2012 the pickguard was changed from black to white.
Black Danelectro Dead On 67 (2011)
This guitar only has a single known appearance, which was at a show at the Esplanade Hotel on August 19th, 2011.
Fender Mustang (2012-2012)
Vintage White Fender CIJ Japan Mustang MB98-70SD Bass (2013-2013)
First seen during a performance at the Corner Hotel on January 24th, 2013, this bass was used by Cookie throughout the year on certain songs (I Gotta Rock n Roll, Elbow and Float Along - Fill Your Lungs)
Unknown Telecaster (2013-2013)
During a performance with very little information already available, Cookie appears to be playing a much darker Telecaster than the one he previously played. This show took place at the Corner Gallery on April 16th, 2013 and consisted of the band playing some unknown songs (likely covers).
Jetglo Rickenbacker 620 (2013-2016)
This guitar was first seen during rehearsals for their tour with The Drones in April 2013 and was one of Cookie’s main instruments
Gibson LG-2 (2013-2013)
First seen being used by Ambrose in early 2013, this guitar was rarely used at King Gizzard shows and was only ever used by Cookie for performances of Let Me Mend The Past from August to December 2013.
