Show Notes: This show was an acoustic performance by Lucas and Stu on The Pulse 94.7 under Lucas' project Your Ailing Girl's Heart. Along with the in-studio performance, a lost song by The Houses and a lost song by Stu & His Friends (an early formation of King Gizzard) were also played over the radio.
KGLW.net Staff Notes: This performance is believed to be complete, but no recording exists to confirm if more was played. If anyone has any further information or, ideally, a complete or conclusive recording please contact KGLW.net staff at [email protected].
Show Notes: All songs are the earliest confirmed performances as there are no known earlier public performance dates. This short set was for "assessment moderation purposes" for the RMIT University Bachelor of Contemporary Music Performance Exams. The end of the performance featured the first known public usage of the name King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, which had been decided on at an earlier unknown date.
KGLW.net Staff Notes: The date of this show has been confirmed with the professor that recorded and uploaded the video.
We note that these are the "first confirmed performances" as there is no record of any earlier ones; however it can be assumed that some or all of these songs had been publicly performed earlier at unknown dates and locations.
Ambrose and Cook are missing from the performance most likely because they were not studying the Bachelor of Contemporary Music Performance. Their status as band members is undefined, though they were both playing regularly with the band around this time; as well as several other people who did not become permanent members.
Through 2010 King Gizzard were a house party band with an open roster who wrote their songs pretty much on the fly. The fact that they had a name and five original songs here tells us the band was becoming moderately established and would soon start releasing singles and booking billed gigs."
Show Notes: This short set consisting of Stu and Lucas was for Lucas' assessment for the RMIT University Bachelor of Contemporary Music Performance Exams.
Show Notes: This event also included performances by three Gizzard adjacent bands. They were The Houses, Almacknjack, and Revolver & Sun.

Show Notes: This show was the first known show with Cookie and Ambrose performing with the band. Fraser Gorman performed on guitar as well. During a "theremin-led jam", Stu snapped all but one of his guitar strings. Following the show, an audience member told the band it was the "worst thing [they]'ve ever seen" and the band would "never, ever play stadiums".
