Manchester 25 is a Great Leap Forward for King G. They really figure out the rave construction including instrument selection. The debut of the electric flute is great. Sax. Tour openers are always great for these guys constantly evolving, it’s pretty incredible. Theia -> Hot Water hits the ground running with energetic jamming. The Hot Water has bass and guitar as well as aforementioned debut of electric flute. This fleshed out arrangement is much better than the synth Hot Water debut over early summer. The amount of improv throughout this whole show is killer. Hell’s Itch debut, MOTU closer. Best rave show they’ve played to date and possibly the best show of 2025 overall.
