Wasn't there at FoV (cause I live in NZ and don't have money!!), but damn that was awesome. First time I stayed and watched the whole set this time lol. Awesome set here. Cool to see some new shit debut and also to see another 2022 song get debuted for once lmao. Cool that they just finished the river off (pretty much rip part 4 you will be missed). Also cool that they're gonna finish off Head On/Pill next set. It's pretty fuckin unique for this band (I think) and I wanna see shit like this more lol.Favourite song here was Hypertension (ofc it is LMAO)
Also if I end up listening to the 1st night when the bootleg album comes out err gonna be weird but oh well
All these electronic arrangements have been INCREDIBLE. It's always amazing seeing bands continue to improve and innovate as they play more shows, but Gizz is just on another level. Especially as they use Nathan more and more.
A great show with a few noticeable low points. Technical difficulties were probably at their worst tonight with some instruments cutting out entirely and multiple sound check adjustments. Gizz were professional as always and still put on an amazing show, but were visibly upset by the audio failures and incidents in the crowd. Highlights included Hell and Gleise 710. Also notable were Bitter Boogie, Muddy Water, and hypertension, all of which sounded good generally but faced challenges under the conditions. Regardless, KGLW turns what may have been a disaster for a worse outfit into a memorable show. 4/5
Gliese 710 didn't contain the sax arrangement - this should be in the show notes. Significant alteration made so they could finally play this live.
That rendition of The Bitter Boogie on Nathan was the bitterest, most bitter, Bitter Boogie that I've ever heard. Absolutely motherfucking EPIC. It totally deserves a special mention!The rest of the show? Insane in the membrane! I really enjoyed watching it.
By the way, gigantic massive Kudos to the filming and editing crews for the wonderful, delightful gift for all of us who could not make it to Meadow Creek. It was so much fun to watch and groove to!
i did not hear any tech issues live somehow- maybe it was where i was but this is essentially on par with night one, just higher highs but lower lows kinda situation with the setlist
this is arguably one of their best live shows. there are many of the best live versions of the songs performed here on this night. there will be a time where i leave a review on every live show, and i know for a fact this show will remain in my top 5, maybe even top 3. ive been a fan since 2017, and ive been seeing them live since 2019. this show was something else
