Joey requested the cameraperson zoom in to his face as close as possible during the intro to Self-Immolate and introduced Cavs as “John Henry Bonham”, followed by a drum solo and a “Moby Dick” (Led Zeppelin) tease, plus an additional brief drum solo and “Moby Dick” tease at the end of the song. Before Her and I (Slow Jam 2), the weather was discussed and the band’s ignorance regarding Fahrenheit to Celsius conversions was revealed. The song itself featured a Flamethrower jam, Slow Jam 1 and Magma teases, and a brief Cut Throat Boogie jam. Hot Wax was dedicated to one of the band's sound engineers, Joe Santarpia. Timeland was played over the PA as the setbreak music.
